tv scripts

These are some scripts I slapped together that control my computer’s TV output using xrandr. They’re pretty simple but they come in handy for adjusting the monitor settings on the fly, since many applications don’t quite work as expected with multiple monitors. The most interesting thing here is probably the tv-only script, because it allows you to run any application in a mode that enables the TV output and disables the monitor, then switches the configuration back once the process closes. This is useful for playing 4K games on the TV through Steam, and launching media players at 4K when watching movies or binging TV shows.

This is probably only useful in my specific setup, but some day I will refactor everything and make those scripts robust and portable so anyone can make some use of them.
